New Moon, the second in the series of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga to arrive on the massive screen, has had something of a bumpy ride getting here. 1st up there was the problem of Edward Cullen, played in the movies by heart-throb Robert Pattinson, and the restricted quantity of time he’s really within the second book, and then there was the problem of the lawsuit filed by an old college space-mate of Meyer’s, who claimed alleged plagiarism against the author of Twilight.

The solid and crew soldiered on though, and the end result of their endeavours has quickly become an enormously big hit all over the world. Edward is seen throughout the movie in a manner that may appear a bit cheesy, however then, this is the Twilight series, and cheese is not any stranger to it. Having said that, the movie has been getting a lot of better reviews than the first movie in the line, that was panned by many critics and brought to task for a number of the rather uneasy aspects of the relationship between a teenage girl and a century-old vampire.

It would seem that the manufacturers of the Twilight films across at Summit listened to the practical analysis of some reviews (and ignored the outbursts of those that disliked it) and have completed a much stronger movie now round. Their paid off, and predictions of the movie being a huge hit have been confirmed to be accurate. Fans have been rushing to see it, and the New Moon goods arena is awash withnovel items for fans to collect.

The line of New Moon goods appears a little classier than what has gone before for franchises like Harry Potter, because the books that all of this comes from are aimed at a different demographic; specifically kids in their early to mid teens, rather than kids upwards. This is often why some aspects of the merchandising, like the Twilight and New Moon duplicate jewelry, is showing to be such a sturdy seller.

It is also fascinating that other New Moon goods items like posters, calendars, bookmarks and others of their sort are therefore well-liked with fans, along with special editions of the books themselves, as this is rather different to the manner that things sometimes associate with movie goods.

The special editions of the Twilight novels are literally seen as collector’s items to several fans, with these Twilight special editions staying untouched on shelves or in their packaging whereas their well-thumbed paperback editions are often read and enjoyed. The audience is thrilled with the newest movie, while many critics are again pulling it apart. That is a sign of something with a very sturdy fanbase indeed, and it will actually continue when ‘Eclipse’, the third Twilight movie in the collection, arrives.
